I was just in the process of putting more washers under my coils and when i went to take off the nut that holds the shock on the rad arm, the whole bolt sheared off. There is about 4 threads left. The stealership can get the new rad arm in stock in 3-4 days, but it has to be pre-payed. I cant get to the bank till monday! So do you guys think this will hold up for 6 DAYS? Obviously no wheelin, but can it handle the highway speeds without losing the whole shock? if not how can i fix it quick?

Nevermind, I welded on another nut, that shock is never coming off ever again, but now when i replace the rad arm i need new shock :(

Glad we could help - LOL

Thanks Hazmat, sorry for taking away your opportunity to share your knowlege though. I probably should've waited for imput. That's a pretty permenant fix.

You were going to buy a new radius arm because you snapped a shock stud? Drill it all the way through and use a bolt.

Thanks Will. Yes I know it seems rediculous but I need new rad arms to start with. They are both beat to hell, dented, chipped, and rusted. The broken stud was just the last straw.
