so your going with regular 9 inch outers? i see a rear spindle in the back ground, didnt know if you were going FF or not

No, not yet at least. Truck doesn't really weigh enough to justify going FF. If I have a problem I might, but I never broke the 8.8 so this should be enough.. Especially having 35 spline axles.
 
Also got this sweet switch panel to go around my shifter.

Are u running an a4ld? If so where did you get the b&m shifter and how much?

Yeah I am but they dont make a shifter for it. I got one for a c4/c6 since I will be running a c4 eventually. I had to do alot of jimmy riggin to make it work. I believe it was like $160
 
Your Ranger is lookin real good. It will truly be amazing when its done and lookin forward to see how much more air that will get since its got that 4.0.

Thank you very much..To be honest im a little worried im going to over do it with the extra power. I am so used to holding it to the floor 24/7, may take some getting used to. Dont want to hurt myself or someone else. I dont think I am letting anybody ride with me this rear for huckfest.
 
I can understand the concerns last thing is to repeat the off road race incident last year. However you do it be careful in your travels even when all fours are off the road. Do some trial runs just to get the hang of it, 4.0 is a big change from the 2.3.

Yeah...it wont be a big deal once I get used to it, but the way its goin huckfest will be its trial run lol

Have you figured how much you are going to have to stiffen the front end to compensate for the extra weight of the 4.0? Just thought about it because of how stuffed those tires are into the fenders with the 4pop... and I am too lazy to search through your build for the answer.
