Phenomenal truck, you have done an excellent job. Sounds better then most mustangs I have heard. Where is this filmed at? Looks to be a good area to test.

What was your speed on the straight portions of the dirt roads? Looked liked you were booking it pretty good.

I can do about 75-80 in the fastest sections. I think that vid only shows the beginning of the trails staying in 3rd gear, In the sandy stuff. but there are harder sections that I can get deep into 4th.

This was Battle At Primm in Primm Nevada just outside of Vegas.

First day wasn't so good, oil cooler cracked in half lap 2 of 5 and we lost all the oil, co-driver turned it off before any engine damage thankfully.

Day 2 we were doing good and running a fast pace. Until about half way through the last lap we got a bad vibration. Turns out the clutch broke apart. Soon after we snapped the driver side axle. We were still able to lump in for a finish but lost a lot of time.

Ever since the the truck has had a V8 it's had a 4 speed manual. Already got a new oil cooler, new clutch, had the trans gone through and switched my spool and BMS drive plates to 40 spline. New axles should arrive Tuesday and then she'll be better than ever. Also had another driveline made with chrome moly slip yoke. Should be pretty stout this time around.

Truck is looking good Alec. You say it will be 100% stronger, those are the words of a true owner of a prerunner. I see you put the orange corners back on.

Thanks man, ya unfortunately one of the clear corners exited the truck during testing. So I tossed the old ones back on so it at least looked complete for now.

I need to get the front lights functioning. Been thinking about putting a windshield in it, super quite mufflers and driving it in town every once in a while. Hate only being able to enjoy it a few days a year, would be fun to go grab a burger in this thing lol.
