Thats a pretty cool truck, do you happen to know the diameter of the steering shaft is? I need to switch to a quick disconnect in my truck

The inside hole is 5/8,s.we welded it right to the existing shaft.I think I have a extra nut and quick release here if you need one,$30 and we'll pay shipping.

sweet machine, looks like alot of fun. Does it have drop beams on the front or do you have a different suspension fabbed up? What coil packs are those? Nice header, i ran one nearly identical to that for a while and it ran pretty good, but i used 2.5" to slip over after i cut off the flange. That looks like 3". Good luck!

It is a 98 with a arms(haven't changed the one in our profile yet).MSD coils.It is a stock 96 header cut off above the flane and 3 inch pipe welded to it with a slip on after 23 inches.Runs good,basically a stock rebuilt 2.5,40 over stock seal pro piston($40 on ebay)head cut 65,custom chip for this year.No porting,stock TB,stock MAF,4.56 gears.Lots of fun,cheap and we run for $100 to win.Had a couple races last year that paid $400,came in second behind a 2.5 s10,tough to swallow

Going to first practice of the season tonite,will try to get a few pics.Benny,the release that I have is a hex,I know its in a box somewheres,just trying to find it.

I took the cap and base that came with the cover and threaded the base to accept a 1 inch nipple and put a 1 1/2 inch adapter on it to take the vent.I just got a piece of 1 1/2 inch tubing and the next time I have the cover off,I'll weld the tube right in the cover.

Practice went well,we picked up 2/10ths .Last saturday nite was our first regular race and we pulled out a win in the last couple laps.Truck runs strong and turns about 6400 with the new chip.
