I have a 97 ford ranger with 2.3 engine, manual transmission. A couple of months ago had to stomp on brakes in bad weather. When I recovered, yellow abs light came on along with the red brake light. They both stay on continually.
I've changed speed sensor in the diff. Changed the brakes front and back, even the RABS resistor assembly in fuse box under the hood. During troubleshooting I found the MC fluid level sensor had continuity between two pins. Read somewhere that it shouldn't have continuity there. Also jumped wires at MC connector, the dark green with yellow stripe wire to the tan with light green wire with key on position and only got 1.22 volts. Read somewhere that I should have gotten 12 volts doing this. Also took ranger to auto zone to pull codes and they advised no code present. (Maybe they did it wrong)
Any suggestions would really be appreciated
Thanks
