what must i remove when replacing the clutch master on a 96 ranger ? i raed the bleeding procedures ,including the bench bleeding method for the master where you connect the lines and rotate the unit (shaft down ward) and (the hose facing upward). personally i just dont see the room to accomplish that. i removed the bolts holding down the power ditribution box to get a little more room to work in there. has anyone found an easy way ? i walked away from it......it was too damn windy and my sockets were blown all over the place by the wind (a few of them fell and well ...the just can't be found). it's just been an aggrivating day and ill try it again tommorrow when i dont have soo much going on :buttkick:

Jack up the front corner, put on jack stand, take the tire off, take out the inner fender/splash guard. That practically puts the master in your face when you sit down next to it.

ok cool, i was wondering if it would be easier if i took the wheel tub out. i just said screw it until tommorrow. thanx for the suggestion. on my 88 , i unbolted the power brake booster and i had lots of room in there. now i know what to bring when i go to the truck again. this really sucks cause its at my buddies house 10 miles away and i hate running back and forth for tools.

excellent advice

taking the inner wheelwell out opened up everything, your right about putting the master right in my face. im glad i didnt pull the brake booster and master . your method was defineatly faster and easier.
THANX:tease:
