Well I got home from work yesterday, got a call from my buddy Frank with some pretty bad news, My Friend Sean Died in a Motorcycle wreck yesterday afternoon on his way home from work. Its a shame too becuse was such a good rider, He would go a little fast but never got to crazy in traffic and always saved that stuff for an empty road at night or a parking lot.

It was just 5 months ago I lost my Friend Rico on the same road in a Bike wreck and another friend of mine wrecked his bike and died 2 years ago not even a Mile away from both of there wrecks. Just make me worry about everyones else I know with bike and who's next.

You'll be missed buddy.

A 20-year-old New Port Richey man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a car, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. Sean Alfanso Reyes was driving west on Trouble Creek Road, above the speed limit, about 2:19 p.m. when a sedan turned left in front of him from Weasel Drive, the report said. The front of Reyes' 2005 Honda motorcycle struck the passenger's side of the 2006 Toyota sedan, driven by Philip A. Caruso, 78, of New Port Richey. The impact caused Caruso's car to overturn once before coming to rest on Baytree Drive, the report said. Caruso was taken to Morton Plant North Bay Hospital with serious injuries.

Reyes was taken to Community Hospital, where he died

we all love and miss you sean!!!

I'm sorry for the loss but he would get no sympathy from me. He was above the speed limit on a motorcycle, and judging from how the car flipped and from the damage, WAY above the speed limit. He died from his own stupidity. Let this be a warning and a lesson to any others out there who "want to go fast."

Sorry for your loss man, that's always unfortunate. I ride myself and I know it's a dangerous world out there. It sucks to lose a friend, it must suck even more to lose 3.

I do have to say though that if he was going fast enough to cause the other car to roll, he was probably going more "a little fast."

im sorry for your loss, and get where your comeing from, a friend of mine had that happen on a hiway, with a guy comeing off a ramp, doing like 40 under the speedlimit
and the man kept driving
i think motorcycle awareness should be #1 to any driver, not just because im about to start riding my own bike, but for the so many riders who have been injured or killed because of stupidity of people in cars,
and if you have a motorcycle, just remember my golden rule
"loud pipes save lives"
its saved my parents a few times, even tho others wont agree

anyway, my regards to the friends and family, let sean and others lost rest in peace, and know there in a better place, riding through the clouds

wow, holly shit.Thats one hell of a impact......whats the speed limit on that road?

That's one thing that sucks about riding bikes, is people just dont see you and pull out in front of you.

and that is true that loud pipes save lifes. I know there have a been a few times if it wasnt for the guy having loud pipes I would have taken a bike out.And its not that I don't look for bikes.cause I do.But I think what happens is you see what looks to be a car aways off, and pull out and ahh shit it was a bike.

Or they do see you, and you're waaaaaaay down the road, so you go through your turn and WHAM.

He had to be doing an insane amount of speed through a suburban neighborhood (where people live and children play - 2:19PM, bright sunny afternoon day) to flip a car over.

This is what happens when you screw around on a public road. Obey the traffic laws and speed limits.

Huh? He was going WAY too fast. He got what he deserved. No good driver goes over the speed limit as much as he did in an area like that.

My heart goes out to the guy your buddy seriously injured. That car could have been a kid running across the street to get a football.

Sorry for the loss, but it was his own doing. The wheelie pic with no gear says it all. I have had a few friends go away the same way.

sorry for the loss same thing happened to a kid i went to school with last week. he was on a harley with a girl and a semi pulled out in front of him, so it wasn't even his fault, and they both died.not good

Sucks about your buddy.

I almost hit a motorcycle yesterday. I was turning left out of the parking lot onto the state highway in a 40mph school zone. You got to kind of get after it because nobody pays any attention to the school zone and it's a busy road. So when you see a gap of any kind in both directions--you go. Well, I did and as it happens the car coming from the left that I was waiting for had a motorcycle riding his ass on the left rear. The bike was totally obscured by the car. I would have seen the bike if he had any kind of following distance. I'll bet he had had to stop at the Bed, Bath and Beyond down the road for a change of shorts because I didn't miss him by more than a foot.

If you are on a bike you have to defend your car-like distance around you. I have bikes on the interstate come out of nowhere and pass right by my mirror--they seem to think the cars are just sheep lined up down the road for them to weave between. Cars don't pull out in front of bikes. Bikes are small and it takes an expert motorcyclist to make sure he's where he can be seen. When you are weaving through traffic 40mph faster than everyone else, you will eventually get hit. If you are riding someones ass, you will eventually take a ride over a roof--which my mother did about 10 years ago.

I don't like motorcycles. They are always getting run over around here. Riding a 150hp piece of plastic wearing your flip-flops and a girl on the back on two lane roads filled with horse trailers is a non habit forming activity. So we've discovered.

tragic. There was a fatal accident a block from where I work. Car in middle lane waved a turning truck through, and a bike in the outside lane tboned the truck. Least he was wearing a helmet.
Another friend of mine was riding up at VDR mx track a few weeks ago. Hit a big step down jump and his front tire got underneath him, severed his spine between t5 and t6. Paralized from the neck down. guess thats the risk we take. scary though

also see these pretty boy types on the interstate, shirt unbuttoned, no helmet, one hand on the bike weaving through traffic and no regard for safety now thats just natural selection at work

as for me I will stick to the dirt. too many crazy drivers out here to ride a bike in traffic
