R.I.P. Sean Reyes

a motorcycle rider has a 67.7% chance of being in an accident. and 51.3% chance of that being fatal.
most are young punks under 25 who think they are invincable.

I have bikes on the interstate come out of nowhere and pass right by my mirror--they seem to think the cars are just sheep lined up down the road for them to weave between. Cars don't pull out in front of bikes. Bikes are small and it takes an expert motorcyclist to make sure he's where he can be seen. When you are weaving through traffic 40mph faster than everyone else, you will eventually get hit.

I've seen it too many times. It makes you lose respect for people who ride motorcycles. Though some do obey the laws and don't screw around. I had one idiot pass me on the shoulder not too long ago...loud pipes wouldn't have saved his ass had he wiped out. They tend to think they have complete control.:fie:

While there is plenty of idiot motorcyclists, there is also a never ending supply of idiot drivers. It seems like it's getting worse too. But the way I look at it is this...you're more than likely to survive an accident in a car than a motorcycle. Even if the car driver should be paying extra attention to any motorcyclist that may be around him, the motorcyclist should be taking extra percautions because assuming the car driver is actually paying attention is stupid...

Regardless, screwing around or not, it's tough to lose a friend. I am sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. Always hate to hear about a fellow biker going down.

My wife and I both ride - but like the pilots say:

There are old riders, and there are bold riders, but there are no old bold riders.

I find it ironic he was on Trouble Creek Rd.

Jus sayin

I couldn't agree more.

Today has been the hardest for me, Ive been trying to keep it in for the past two days but I broke down today. Since my alcohol related wreck in my truck I haven't really touched the stuff, but tonight I got to drinking a little Jack D. and it doesn't help, it just makes me feel worse, and my stomach hurts. ( and no I didn't have the keys to my truck)

Its really bad for me because Ive known him for a few years but it was just this summer I really started hanging out with him and had some good times. And then Ive been talking too or seeing ppl that I haven't seen in awhile since High School, it Just nice to see everyone and I feel closer to them but I just hate how it has to be under these circumstances.

Idk his service is on Monday and I'm not looking forward to it. It is nice though Ride Now Powers Sports (where he worked) and The green Iguana (Local Bar and grill/ Night club kinda thing) are having a fund raiser for his parents to help pay some of the bills due to the whole thing. And even though I'm hurting for money right now I'm still gonna Donate a Franklin. Its the least I can do for them.
