Hi guys
I was wondering if anyones had to replace the excluder dust seals. And if so what did the shop charge you. I don't really have the time or work area to try it myself. I just started getting a squeal today coming from the front end. The squeal doesn't change when aplying the brakes. The trucks a 99 ranger 4wheel drive. I just replaced a rear wheel cylinder, and i wasn't able to bleed the other rear brake. So it may still have a little air in the system, not sure if that would cause a caliper to hang-up.

Ok so maybe no one has had this problem before. Noticed the squeal yesterday, thought maybe dirt or dust in the brake shoes. Took it to the car wash and tried to rinse the back of the wheel and calipers off. Drove it home and didn't hear the squeal, but once it dried it came back. Getting on the brakes doesn't seem to change the squeal so maybe it's not the brakes. What else could it be.

Thanks junkie
I was able to find that post, but like i said not something i have the time to tackle. Was hoping someone had had it done at a shop before, just to give me a idea of the cost. I'll check it out weds. and maybe run it into the shop. Thanks for the help though. Shit maybe i'll get lucky and only have glazed pads, a guy can hope. lol.
