Quick Question on a V8 Explorer swap

So I recently began swapping a v8 5.0L from a 99 explorer into my 99 ranger. I am using the explorers transmission (automatic) so I will use the brake pedal assembly from the explorer to replace my clutch/brake pedal assembly. My question is do I need to address any issues with the sensor located on the push rod of the clutch master cylinder. Can I simply leave the connector unplugged and be fine? Another quick question is about the engine bay wiring. To my knowledge, I retain the stock (Ranger's) accessory harness. This harness has powers the lights, ac, and other items not connected to the engine itself. Once the explorers engine is in I simply plug in the one connector on the top of the engine into my stock, ranger harness. This connector goes to all the sensors and other electronics directly on the block. Is this correct?
-Thanks so much

There are three pairs of wires in the clutch pedal position switch. They each need to be jumper together. You can cut and splice, or grab a pre-made jumper from most any automatic.

The engine harness is seperate from the other truck functions.
