Can anyone tell me which fuse on a 1993 Ranger (Super cab, 2wd, v6, auto) goes to the horn? My manual goes to a 1994 4cyl and the fuse diagram isn't the same.

I believe it's a 20 amp. And all my 20 amp fuses are okay.. I'm hoping that maybe someone put the wrong size fuse in and it blew, I don't want to have to buy a new horn.

Fuse #8 (20A) in the cab, fed from fuse labeled "Fuse Panel" under the hood, 60A MaxiFuse.

If the Maxifuse were blown, your flash to pass high beam (stalk) won't work, or your cig lighter.

Damn. I was hoping it was a different one, that fuse appears to be good. Bad horn then?

Where's that sucker located? I looked all through the truck under the hood and didn't see it anywhere.

On my '94 it's below the driver-side headlight. A real pain in the ass to get to; it's easiest to loosen the plastic fender liner to get at it.

and to check ur horn jsut run a direct wire from ur pos bat terminal tot eh horn while its still attached to the vehicle(thats it ground) and see if it still works

I'm starting to think that the reason why my horn doesn't work, is because someone stole it.

I looked by the head light. It was no where to be found.

I just looked at the '93 EVTM, to double-check. For all engines, single or double horn, the location is behind and below the driver-side headlight. Look for the single-wire connectors (one jumps to the other) having a dark blue wire. If it ain't there, maybe it was stolen, or not replaced after a repair. Good luck.
