Hey there, currently stranded on the side of Route 50 in Easton, MD just wanted a quick drop of knowledge on what I wound need to do to replace my quick disconnect for the slave cylinder back into the transmission. I’ll attach a picture to give you guys a visual. It’s about a half inch or inch outside the transmission body, came disconnected and I shoved it back in but when I start my ranger it won’t shift into gear. If I put in gear and then start I begin moving forward without applying any pressure on gas pedal. Any thought? Any information is appreciated

Thanks
Zeus

i Have just gone through the entire process with my ranger. I ended up buying a slave cylinder just for a new disconnect clip and o ring. I bled the slave cylinder as the last member told you to do. I bled like a brake bleed but with extra pumps of the peddle in between opening the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. You need to clean the line real good and possibly sand off any corrosion around the clip area. now I am told I may need a new clutch anyway so it looks like all my efforts are wasted. good luck
