The write release ring on my clutch line is long gone. Does anyone make/sell a replacement or does anyone have another option? I pulled the engine and left the trans for the moment, but would really like to pull the trans to make reinstall easier.

Never heard of a replacement sold for that.

You could probably make a ring/tube from a coke or beer can, thin metal ring/tube that can slide down into the gap to release the "fingers" holding connection together.
It is similar to the Ford Fuel line disconnects, but I don't think that release tool fits on clutch disconnect.

I used a pick once. Napa did have a little kit once, it was a new O-ring an collar.
I think it only came with a slave tho.

I ran across an old post that said a small worm gear clamp with the adjuster removed and cut to length works well. I'll give that a try.

I came here to ask that exact question... also read using a spray paint can cap cut to fit works. You'd think there's a replacment kit or something out there the amount of people destroying them from being brittle or till they figure out how it works... has to be a kit somewhere.
