Since my steering issues are becoming a real problem, I bought upper and lower ball joints and I am going to get a guy to help me with it on Saturday. Hopefully this will correct my steering issues. I was hoping for some pointers on getting the old ones out, or just some general advice as well as any other ideas on improving steering. Thanks.

I recommend you take it to a front end shop and get a free safety check they have to tell you what it needs.

First, rent a ball-joint press from a parts store.

Second, you'll have to remove the steering knuckle. This makes the removing the ball joints easier.

Third, get some adjustable ball-joint bushings. This makes it easier to align the front end when you get the new ball joints in.

Kim, I appreciate the advice, but there aren't any "front end" shops around that I know of. I work at a dealership so I think we should be able to get it in better driving shape (albeit it is a Honda dealership :icon_surprised:) My guy wasnt able to check it out Saturday but this week looks promising...
