Quick 4x4 ?

ok so ive noticed my transfer case motor is bad so i got a new one but is there suppose to be a little bit of fluid around the pin coming out of the transfer case where the motor mounts to?? i dont want to install this motor if the trans case is leaking

(someone told me that it should be a little bit wet is this true)

mine was bone dry, and actually clean. the motor itself was dirty, but the area where it bolts to and connects to the triangular nub was dry.

i would clean it up, drive it and see if you have any more fluid coming out.

It shouldn't be wet, idk why somebody would tell you that, lol. If its wet, you're leaking, if you're leaking, then thats an issue. +1 on what Guilius said.
