hello, i have another thread going about hanger bearing but was recommended to do the 1-piece and get rid of the problem entirely. So, this is what i plan on doing if i can get myself a driveshaft tomorrow.
my question is will the flanges match up from my truck to an aluminum shaft from a 98+ 2wd supercab? and how late of a model will fit?
mazda or ranger or explorer will work?
thanks for helping me out in advance!

i want to do the same, some advice would be great so i know exactly what to get from the yard

Mazda and ranger should be the same. Its any 98+ that should work as long as it is the Body/bed as your truck. An extended cab short bed.

Explorer will not work.

Yeah, any 2W shaft from a Super-cab truck should fit. As I understand the swap, anything works as long as its from the same wheel base and drive train, the 88's and back need a second front flange put in place of the rear flange because of different bolt spacing on the axle companion flange.
