I'm a little curious as to the benefits of SAS over normal suspension mods.
Does SAS have to do with higher lifts? I've seen Rangers with 10" suspension lifts. Where are they getting these or are those just home fabricated lifts?

SAS stands for a solid axle swap, it replacing the independent front suspension and axle with a solid axle out of different vehicle. There are a couple of companies that make kits for this, but by far and large, most are home fabricated or done on a custom basis at a shop. As for the height issue, SAS's don't need to come with a monstrous lift but they do allow for it.
