How will I be able to tell if a set of aftermarket rims will fit with no adjusments due to my automatic locking hubs? not quiet that savvy in 4wd stuff :( i assume the hub is the huge 2/5" thing protruding from my stock rims, and i assume i cannot remove them, I have a set of enkei wheels sitting at my friends house that will be going on my ranger, but my fear is that the hub will not clear the center hole in the rims and sit underneath the center cap on the rims, anyone have any kind of this experience? appreciate any answers, assholish, condescending or not, need to know before I pay for them  :dunno:

best thing is to test em before u pay, if they were in a 4x4 truck-vehicle they prolly fit, also check if the backspacing and bolt pattern is the same. since u dont have much exp on those things, your best option is to go there and test them.
hope it helps. and the hub is the big thing coming from the center of the rim.

Yeah, I figured, Thanks, I don't know the backspacing and for the life of me I can't seem to find specs on them, They're the DM5's, But they didn't come off a 4x4 truck but he says they will fit. Thanks alot though, I'll definitely do that.

I did however find out that its a +38 offset

they're 5 lug universal so that won't factor in.

Yeah, They are, But the guy is telling me that since I have automatic hubs that it will clear the center hole, Guess I just have to give it a try haha.

Even if they did fit, if those rims were made for a car the offset/backspacing will be way wrong. I would definately test fit before I bought them.

if they came from a car, it will look like a duck, big a$$ wide body and little legs, and u wont be able to fit the center cap on the front.

+38 is a lot of positive offset for a Ranger. I'm betting that 1) the tires will rub on the inside and 2) that it will look silly. Of course you could always get spacers.

I tried them on yesterday, The inside lip around the Hub hole was 3/8's of an inch too big just at the end, I think I'm going to go with a set of 15" MB Predators, Thanks though for all your input guys, Appreciate it.
