what would be the best exhaust for my truck. i have a 98 ranger and would like a little performance add and a deeper sound.

you arent going to gain any performance with an exhaust system. the factory system is tuned and already flows sufficiently for a stock engine.

if you dont want the exhaust for sound, save your cash.

if you want to go ahead for a change of pace, check youtube. there are tons of rangers on there with all different types of systems that you can listen to.

well are you gonna go with a cat back system from a manufactuer or go weld custom bent pices

get a flow 40 or a summit chamberd and run 2.5 in off the cats and then run a 3" pipe off the muffler will sound pretty deep for a v6 and be loud enough that you can hear it but it probily wont drive you crazy.
