We are prepping the '93 for the lift, prior to the kit arriving. The instructions say "remove the original radius arm frame brackets and remove from front axle housings."

Are they saying the radius crossmember that the rear (bushing side) of the radius arm bolts to gets removed from the frame and discarded, or are they talking about the "brackets" on the axle?

Remove the frame crossmember and discard it. There's a new trans crossmember that the extended radius arms attach to.

I am going to reinforce the new crossmember per the tech article. Any idea how long the new crossmember is? I want to get the stock ahead of time.

I'm not standing in front of the truck with a tape measure, so I can't give you an an actual measurement... But, it's the width of the frame rails (outside to outside) where the original trans crossmember is attached.

Perfect - that is what I needed.

Thanks.
