Im looking at a 1989 Bronco II and their only wanting 300 for it and i have a 1983 ford ranger truck and i bought a 8inch suspension lift kit for my truck a few years back and never put it on the truck i was kinda cirious is to if the suspension lift kit would fit on the 1989 Bronco II?

wait, seriously. an EIGHT INCH lift?

yeah, it'll probably work with a little modification, but you'll need a new driveshaft and your steering won't work right.

lol well at the time the 8inch lift was cheaper then the 6inch lift plus i have a 3inch body but wasn't going to put that on either i got the 8inch kit cuz we got sum deep holes here in southern oklahoma

but what all would i have to fix if i did try to put it on the bronco?

You will need a longer drive shaft and a drop pitman arm. You are also going to want to seriously consider not doing that because the B2 is already tippy enough, it doesn't need to sit 8 inches higher.

Well whats the best suspension lift kit size to put on it i have 4 brand new 33 tires i was planning on putting on it to

6" woulda been better, you will fight steering and have huge alignment issues plus have to long arm it. Sell that kit and get a smaller Skyjacker complete with pitman arm and a camber kit.

33" tires with 8" would look wrooooooonnnnngggg. i started a thread a while back asking who had 33" tires, and how much lift they had. not a single person had 33" tires with more than 6" total (body+ susp) lift. in fact many had less

I would never lift a Bronco II any higher then 5 inches to tell you the truth. I had a lifted 89 and I ran 33x12.5 tires on it with a 4 inch lift. Looked great and that is all it needed.

Just be careful, Bro....don't get hurt or killed!!!!

come now people, ive thought we had better minds then this lol, relocate your coil buckets upwards about 1 1/2" ull sit at about 6 1/2 with the kit u bought, that is plenty alingable and tolerable steering.
