Hey all, I wanted to know if the Hurst 3915020 short shifter would fit a 2006 model year truck.

Every site I check that has the P/N lists the it fits 88-00, has anyone tried to see if it would fit newer models.

I am unaware of any differences in the transmission so I am a bit confused.

Thanks :icon_thumby:

I know for point of fact it will fit up to 2004.

I have a 2004 transmission and it's externally no different than any trans made 1994 up to '04.

Isnt the same trans in the 06? I thought it has stayed the same...

Or could there be a different design worked in?

If they've changed it nobody has told me...

But I'm not on Henry Ford's christmas card list either, so...

I have one on my 2010 B4000, and it works like a champ.

It fit my 2006 just fine.

Definitely shortens the shifts, and man is it stiff right now.

I have yet to put the plastic console back in, I am gonna need an adapter to bring it higher and aft.

Gotta get used to it, but I'm sure I will enjoy the click.... click, into each and every gear
