question need help ASAP

i got a quick question its probably stupid but, i just got done puttin bearings and seals in my rearend and i noticed that after i got it put in the driveshaft hooked up and everything that the drivers side axel still spins and passenger side dont, while its in park. its not supposed to do that is it?

so you're saying with the driveshaft locked and unable to turn only one axle will turn? something is broken. since im assuming you just removed the axles they must not be broken.. which leaves the spider gears or you somehow forgot to put the cross pin back in.

if the driveshaft is not locked and is free to turn then you might not have a problem. be more specific
