question: mustang GT rear brakes

So if I go to the local Pick & Pull to retrieve a set of Mustang GT rear brakes, must I pull the axles to retrieve the caliper mounts?

Another question:

The Mustang disk brake sticky says that the stock drum brake backing plates can be cut off rather than pulling the axles.

Has anybody actually done this? What tool-wise does it take to do this? Can I reach in to cut this with a 4" dia cutoff wheel? Or a sawzall?

I used a dremel with a metal cut off wheel... i think a 4" cut off wheel would work fine as well.

Good. I actually have a Dremel with cut-off wheels. I just don't have the garage space to pull axles and I'd rather not do this outside with nosey neighbors and a picky HOA.

Another question. The How To Tech article says I can use stock Mustang rear brake hoses. Just looking, I see that the Mustang hoses are made with a 10mm female connection to the hard lines. The Ranger is make with a 3/8-25 male connector at the hard line end. So I need a 10mm male to 3/8-24 female adapter. Anyone seen this adapter?
