ins for my 21 year old on a fusion ranges from 300-600 per month with less then ideal coverage and she has no tickets.

car payment is like 240ish...with insurance a min of 300ish.

pisser.

I am 25 and pay like $600/yr for liability on my '91 Mazda Navajo - perfect record, too.

im 25 and have only had 1 ticket back when i was 16 (luckily no points on my license), i pay about $420 every 6 months, so $840 a year for my 94 ranger and thats just for PLPD. **** michigan and its no fault insurance! but to answer your ? we just do what we have to do inorder to be able to drive to work and make money for the other priorities in life. i make 9$ an hour so im by far no millionaire, but i make it work because there is no other alternative.

Depends on where you live and how old you are, I pay $260/6 months on a 4wd 2002 F-150, 27 with a clean record.

I remember paying $666/6 months in college (03-04) with a 1990 Plymouth Laser RS. When I got my F-150 in '05 it only made it go up $20/6 months... and has steadily gone down since.

looks like she needs a 94 ranger:dunno:

you guys have it so good. i bought a 2011 ford ranger pay 388.34 per month and pay 340 per Month for insurance.. that's was with no accidents claims or tickets. unfortunately my brother got into a collision with my ranger so there is now a claim and my rates will be higher next year.

oh and for you guys with just PLPD its 1100$ here for standard plpd with clean record
also im 20 i remember when i was paying 1400$ a year for plpd on a 1983 Mercedes diesel

I pay $600/yr for my '95 psd with anything but a perfect record...

i think im around $800 a year for my 86 Ranger and 03 Powerstroke, im 21 with far from a perfect record

lets see im 24 and live in nw minn. i have one accident on my record but that was five years ago an dont play into the rates anymore. the most iv payed was when i had 2 trucks insured.

i now pay 73 a month for renters insurance and a min liability policy on my 98 Jeep. I have discounts for the combo and airbags in the jeep an one other i forget.

Damn, you guys all got screwed. I payed $250 a month for two rangers ('85 and '90) and a 2 integras ('87 and '88) when I was 22, with 2 wrecks and numerous tickets, all liability. I now pay for a '02 focus and soon to be '95 ranger and for $68 month and I get 24 hour roadside, and free car rental. I'm now 30. Focus is full and ranger will be liability.

i pay about 1600 yr. for full coverage.. with high coverages on my 99 F-350 dually

Like someone said, the rate will really vary from area to area. My rates are higher than Green Bay 80 miles away because of the deer. I traded one SUV in for one nine years newer and the rates were only $5 a month higher, because of all the added safety/anti theft devices.

i just paid 314$ for 6 months on my 87 2.3L 2wd ranger, and i turned 18 only a few months ago... i have Farmers insurence.

EDIT:forgot to add i have liability and uninsured motorist

I pay 340 for my 06 Chevy (full coverage) and 88 Ranger (liability) apparently. I was told by the office people, it would be 50 extra, not 90. My record has 2 accidents and one PA speeding ticket (funny story).

Her insurance us $300-600 per month, plus a $240 car payment?

Her auto insurance could be $7,200 a year, and her car payment $2,880/year? $10,000 per year just to drive? One kid!?
