I installed leveling coils. '89 BII, Skyjacker 132. And I netted about 1.5" of lift. I took it to my mechanic who is pretty well versed in ttb suspensions with 2.5 & 3.5 degree camber bushings. He says it isn't enough to align it yet and suggested drop brackets. I feel if I have to install drop brackets, I may as well just put on a proper 4" lift. Unless there's a milder drop bracket option out there. I see that there are 4° bushings as well, but I don't think .5° is going to do it.

This just doesn't sound right...

I am kinda surprised that they couldn't align it. 1.5" is within the range where drop brackets are not required... I put 2" pucks under my coils recently and my local shop was able to get it within spec. Maybe a second opinion is what you need here, there are plenty of shops that just don't like to work on modified TTB trucks.

Autofab is the only company to my knowledge that makes "short" lift kit brackets, they are similar to the Ford High Rider factory lift parts but unfortunately they only make the axle drop brackets... their kit really needs radius arm drop brackets and a pitman arm to be complete.

There's only 1 4x4 shop in town, and they have a bit of a poor reputation. I'll have to think if there's anybody else that might know their way around a TTB.
