I have some small trailer rims that I want to get sandblasted. Its a tubless tire my question is when the shop removes the tires what do I do with the valve stem? do I just rip it off somehow and get the shop to reinstall a new one later?
I Don't no anything about tires

Pretty much easy to replace in most cases. It pulls through the hole from the inside-out. To remove? Just need to rip 'er off carefully. Soap up the new one a bit (tire lube...or just using water can do the trick--but you need to pull the new one through very slowly to avoid cutting the new one up) If the shop has the ability to remove the tires? I'm sure they are able to install a set of valve stems....they are cheap enough LOL. (a couple bucks per stem)

Just cut the backside of the valve stem off tgo remove them.
