Hi pals...
Since long time ago, I want a dual exhaust system for my 96 regular cab 3.0 Ranger.

Question is: Is there any bolt-on kit for my truck? I know Flowmaster and Gibson offer some kits but those are for 98+ trucks, and I dont know if those will fit (98+ cabs are a couple of inches longer).

Ive seen some 95, 96 and 97 with dual kits, but I dont know if those are custom made.

Im from outside the US (not canada nor mexico... way down below, like 6000 miles away), so I have to be 100% sure what to but as this will be imported in a container (with other stuff offcourse).

Any imput will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot!!!

Magnaflow has for 98+ Rangers only. I dont know if, with little modifications this will fit in my 96.
Im prety sure it will (98+ cabs are a little longer) but before importing anything from the u.s., I must be 100% sure.
Thanks a lot for the reply man, any other input will be appreciated.

Thanks man. Ive seen that one in lmc catalog before. Are those good quality? The brand is not mentioned.

Also, do these bolt on the stock muffler?

I had one on my truck for a number of years. The brand is Hearthrob, and it seemed to be good quality. It lasted four years of PA winters when I was replacing Walker pipes every two for rust holes, and it was still intact when I took it off.

I never tried to use it with a stock muffler. I ran it for two years with no muffler at all, just bolted to the intermediate pipe. After that the rules changed and I had to have a muffler, so I cut a chunk out of the pipes and put a 24" glass pack in place. It worked well, but I could never get the pipes to line up quite right after that and after two more years I just went back to a stock system.

Thanks a lot for your time pal, I really appreciate it.

So I can use this setup with the stock muffler, or maybe a magnaflow/flowmaster, right?

Ill have to talk to an importer here in uruguay to know the impot charges and his fees.

Im sure it wont be less than 1 grand for this setup.

Again, thanks a lot man!!!

Well, I finaly bought this:

http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/sum-680016

It has good reviews and its a bolt-on kit. The only thing I dont like are the pipes hangers, I think Ill be doing custom hangers.

It takes 1 month to arrive, maybe next week its here!!!!!

I will make a video of the sound when installed.
