I have posted a few threads regarding the whole v8 conversion topic, I have been wanting to do it for a few years now just havnt had the time or broccoli to do it. SO, that being said, this project is coming in the near future to do this and I know I plan on putting a 302 in my 1993 Ranger.
Here is my question:
302HO engine, I have been told that this engine operates on the opposite side of the engine. I don't know if that makes any sense, but a motorist here in town said an HO engine is more work than an origional 302 because the transmission needs to be relocated.
I have read a few threads here going over the topic but I have never read any problems regarding this matter.
Any advice would help.
And for the record, I have no picked out a transmission yet, although I do have a scrap 1990 F-150 I was planning on taking the transmission and transfercase from. And possibly the axles.
Cheers
