What is the best way to remove the solid mounted quarter windows from a 96 Ranger so I can install pop outs?

take off the plastic trim around the window there are small nuts on each edge of the window, take those off, and have someone on the other side to catch it and it should just pop out

p.s. dont do what i did and cut off all of the rubber seal around it thinking it was just sealed to the metal

Like he said^^^^^. Use your feet or flat hands and push evenly. It's really easy. You'll want to put some clear packing tape over the stud holes once you get the old one out, and before you install the pop outs. You'll need a couple rivets for the hinge side, and your screws and j-clips for the latch side.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking they where just held in with the rubber, good thing I didn't start cutting!
