here is the history of the truck i purchased it in august of 2008 for $800. i wheeled it every chance i got till november when i blew the 7.5 and hydrolocked the 2.8. i parked it with intentions of fixing it but between bills and a newborn it kept getting pushed aside. then i gave it to a friend. well fast foward two years and i got it back. plans are a 4.0 swap with a m50d from behind a 2.9 and a manual bw 1354. the suspension will consist a 6 inch sky jacker lift with 8 inch jeep coils and chevy 63 inch leafs. the axels will be a dana 35 with 4.56s aussie locker. dual piston calipers and manual hubs and a 31 spline explorer rear with discs and a air locker of some sorts.

Greatly looking forward to seeing progress. I'm doing almost the same build. Keep in mind, with the 6" lift, and 8" coils, it might be hard to get your Camber aligned. if it's a Pure wheeler, no biggie, but street driving will kill your tires. From what I'm told, a 4 degree camber adjustment, is the highest you can get... and I think 8" lift coils might put it a little beyond 4 degrees.

Then again, I don't know anything about Jeep coils, so I could be wrong.

so today i got a few things done i pulled the dana 28 out and have the motor ready to pull. i also picked up a dana 35 with new axles and universal joints for $25 from a local junkyard
