I need to fashion some kind of fix for a rusted gas filler neck. It has a T high up where the gas tank vent enters and this is where the major rust through is. I want to try some type of PVC pipe (because I can get a T fitting to work)
Can someone tell me if PVC pipe, and its solvent type cement is okay to use with gasoline?
Thanks

I would try using steel exhaust pipe first.

PVC will melt. IPVC is made from oil itself so gas would act as a solvent and dissolve it over time.
