What engine is indicated by the letter V as the 8th digit in the vin number on a 2001 Ranger. I cannot find this info anywhere I have looked. It is definitely a letter V and the tenth digit is a 1 so its a 2001 for sure. I can send a mms photo of the vin number for you to see if you like. I am stumped. DaltonD
