Ok well i got a 99 ford ranger xlt stepside. sitting on 15 ford racing rims with widetrack tires. i bought it off a lady who's husband is in korea and it basically was sitting for bout a year in the storage. its my dd and i notice that the back end is a little lower then the front. just wondering bout putting new shocks on it. will i have to add anything else to the rear? what im asking is like if i get new shocks. do i need to add a leaf as well? or?... i also looked into shackles? im only wanting to do like a 2-3 inch lift on the back to get it leveled or 1 or 2 higher than front.

new shocks alone wont lift the rear i dont think. rear leafs are probably worn. you could get a way with lift blocks to raise it up.

was just looking round at the junkyard bout 15 miles from me. was wondering. could rear f150 shocks fit on my 99 ranger? just wondering cause he only wanting 100 dollars for both. came off a totaled 06. or would it not work right? just-brain storming

just toss a set of explorer springs on the ranger shackles to raise it up
