I still get such a kick out of the transformation of this truck as well as many others on here...

hey I was just wondering what are you using for steering it looks like a superrunner, is it? and if so how do you like it and how hard was it to lengthen it for the d44

Im actually running the suspension out of my old bronco fullsize along with the axle. As big as the truck looks, it sits pretty low.

cool I still have the steering out of my bronco so that should work thanks.

Brought the truck to a show for the first time in the 3 years, also the first time the two race vehicles are together. Made for an awesome set up. heres some pics of our booth before the show started.

I love seeing the old girl out again, and I love the fact that you and your team members and friends are trying to support legal racing. Terrific!

hey Andrew, do you still have that thing?

Thanks 97Black, Its been fun talking with some of the younger crowd and showing them literally how many opportunities there are to get started in any kind of motorsport.

I actually dont, on the other truck I built I had fiberglass flared sides. But im currently running stock bedsides that are trimmed alot. For one main reason. To save money. I tend to whip out wide alot, so its much cheaper when I go too sideways and hit something on the side of the track its much easier/cheaper to fix. Im always slapping stuff with my bedsides lol.

They were at one point (factory bedsides can be flared quite a bit) but I have since cut so much that the mounts for flaring are no longer used.
