Pulled out an old friend yesterday...

yea, it will most def be out racing hopefully, a few of us have talked about starting a new class in some of the events I have been running with the subaru. Lots of work to do before hand tho. Im tired of lawn ornaments haha.

Those are 33's, lift... never measured, I try and keep it as low and wide as I can.

its pretty shot, but still runs enough to move it around, actually ran better after sitting for three years lol.

Yup, 351 is here still, just needs to be finished.

I could have sworn you had a stroker in that truck already, cant believe it's actually been sitting for 3 years.

i wish i did, also wish it hadnt been sitting that long.

My mouth opened when you said 3 years. Has it really been THAT long? I swear the cage and the dash was just yesterday...

What plans do you have for the rear? Gonna link or truss it?

all depends on budget, in the other truck I ran deavers and was very happy with them, so ill probably go the same route unless i hit the lotto lol.

wow havent seen that truck on here in a while , so what plans do you go in store for it

Im going to start with some body work first, finish the front clip conversion. Then redesign the front suspension and eventually drop in the 351.

I'm yet another person thats excited to see this thing come out, keep us posted.

I have to say, I really like the look of this truck.

Whats the bulge size on your front fender? (If you remember or were told when you purchased them.)

hey not all there...i am kind of in the same boat as you are for now starting

i blew my front diff apart last winter...and just now gettin back around fixing it.....going to finish my 90 and have plans to get the super beast back on the road about the time it hits the big 25!!! it will be a "classic"

NO MORE STATE INSPECTION!!!

no inspections for the win!

The fenders were 4 inch bulge, 3 inch rise originally, the white ones you see are 6 inch bulge, and about a 3 inch rise.

Glad some of you guys remeber this truck!

remeber the truck. Alot of what I have done and getting ready to do to my 87 is based off your truck. just ordered my first lift and gettign ready to mod it for the d44. so ya I even go and look at the tech article about your truck to get inspiration. :icon_hornsup:

Its home, and all one color now. Brought it back today with no problems (thats a first).

Will start getting the one piece header panel ready to go as well.
