Pulled my transmission out....

Finally pulled my FM 145 transmission out yesterday and started tearing it apart, found out that somehow I tore 9 teeth off the rear most gear on the countershaft.......WTH?

All of the other gears look perfectly fine even the ones on the main shaft, gotta finish tearing it apart today and give it a complete overhaul. The countershaft is going to have to be replaced because the gear itself is not replaceable................

Hopefully she will be back on the road sooner than I thought!

The fm146 must be about twice as strong. I only stripped 4 teeth off 2nd gear in my 146.

I don't think I've done too bad with my 145, this is only the 2nd one I've torn up in 18 years......considering I wheel it like it is indestructible, I think I'm pretty lucky!

Got it all tore down yesterday and everything else is perfectly fine, i'm not real sure how it didn't tear anything else up with all those teeth that fell out of the pan......

Finally saved enough money to order the parts today to fix my trans.!!! Hoping to have 'er on the road by this coming weekend!!

Well sh**, pops started putting my trans back together Friday only to discover that we forgot to order the 5th gear needle bearing assembly....Had plans for the B2 this week but now I gotta wait for one damn part, I think I'm fixin' to lose my damn mind...........

Don't feel too bad addict. I took mine out for a clutch job back around Thanksgiving. It's still out. Weather looks wonderful and then I go out to work on it and the garage is still freezing.

Lol, it's sittin' at dads in Lavergne, I'll c ya there!! I don't know what to do anymore man, still hoping to be able to get 'er up there before da weekend but it don't look good as of yet............
