Ps pump specs?

I cant seem to find my book for the capacities for my 89 b2. I just replaced my power steering pump and bracket but i dont remember what it takes. Mercon?

Yes, ATF.
Personally, I use synthetic ATF. Seems to keep it quieter and doesn't cost that much more.

Thanks. Personally the infamous ford ps whine doesnt bother me. It would bother me if it didnt whine cause then i wouldnt know if it was working lol.

Except you know it would be harder to turn.
And if you think its noisey with your windows down the summer how about when its -18 out and the ps pump is louder than your already loud exhaust.
