I have a 1995 ranger that I replaced the ps lines to the steering gear box awhile back....every since I have done this it seems that where the lines screw into the gear box have leaked a little. Is there a rubber o ring or something that goes over the line before you put it in or can I put pipe tape on the threads and stop it?? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The return line to the gear is a flare fitting, just try getting it good and tight.
The pressure line though, to the gear, is a 16mm swivel o-ring fitting, make sure the o-ring is on the end and get that fitting good and tight as well. Try that first. Yours should be the same as my 92

Thanks. If my line is missing that o-ring, where could I get it at? Or what size is it so I could maybe come up with one that would work?

You may have to buy a small o-ring kit at the parts store and compare to another pressure hose while you are there with the parts sale person. They may have single o-rings for sale too, not sure. That is if you are missing yours.
