Great guy to deal with! I called and left a message yesterday, he called me back (late Friday afternoon mind you) and we talked for prob a half hour. He answered all my (prob dumb noob) questions and gave me tons of tips on doing my truck's suspension. He asked all about my truck and what I had in mind for it, what future mods I had in mind and what I would be using it for. Never any pressure to buy anything... I bought the complete DJM 4/5 drop kit with Doetsch Tech Nitro Slammer shocks from him. He counseled me against the c-notch on my extended cab and said I prob didn't need the tranny crossmember for lowered trucks unless I go lower. My stuff should be here buy end of next week.

:icon_thumby: Thumbs up to Brian @ Illusive!

he is a great guy to buy from. very smart on what works and what doesnt. Just watch out for supersize speed bumps, I am dropped 4/5 and never have a problem except when I run into the giant speedbumps, which army posts love.

Brian's good shit. He ships fast too. Highly recommended for all your ranger's suspension needs! How was that Brian? I get something free now? LMAO!!

Thanks for the comments everybody! I really appreciate it, and I try my best to help out everybody as much as I can.

I live by Brian and have seen all his trucks in person.... dude knows his shit. i bought a little compressor for my airhorns off him.

Real good. Busy as hell. i was working at your neighbors house a couple weeks ago. when you gonna have the x tearin the road apart again?

who knows haha to busy working on everybody elses stuff, just did a custom cad designed and cnc cut backhalf on my buddys yota here in Vtown

nice. im trying to get alex to get his truck in the weeds. he says hes afraid it would ride like crap... all i had to say back was "so. at least your truck would look badass"

Yea I talked to him the other day, that truck needs a DJM 4/5 and Doetsch Nitro Slammer shocks it will ride good.

Brian--Finally got all my stuff from DJM yesterday... thanks for the help.

Well i think riding in my '90 scared him a little. it was a 5/6 without doing beams. It rode like crap but i didnt mind. might have compressed my spine a little.
but i had to take one for the team and do the lowest static drop i could without doing a body drop. And i wasnt about to bag it and have to drive a bagged truck in the snow.

5" without drop beams? I bet thats eating the crap out of the tires. I've been driving my ranger in the snow for 4 years now at least. All you need is a water trap after the compressor and an oiler after that before the tank and run some air brake anti-freeze in it, it will keep the valves from freezing and does a great job.

no joke.... 5 inches cut out of the coils. i was young and dumb and at the time broke. suprisingly I only went through 2 sets of tires. now i have dream beams and belltech springs for the front and a spring under explorer 8.8 for the rear. wire wheeled the rearend, spindles and radius arms and let the girlfriend go crazy wih some paint. parts look good now. the poly kit i bought was a little funny though. came with enough shackle bushing to do 3 more trucks. lol
i should have just pulled the trigger on the bags. i had everything exept valves and switches to put on the bags i have. (york compressor. lines to the 5g tank. all for the train horns)
i dunno maybe when the 4.6 swap is done ill bag the '92, then buy another daily driver..
