Okiedokie sas is under way pics are on theyr way to

I have a full size 8.8 rear and 79 hp Dana 44 front
4.56 gears
5.5 Eb coils on theyr way

I have the 64 inch leafs in place and the perches welder on the rear " I messed up on the messurements though"

Tomorrow when I get the rear mounted up ill pull the front out but I have a couple things to order tomorrow .
Couple questions before I order the stuff tomorrow

Since I'm running EB coils do I need to grab those eb lower spring retainers?
James duff has two options for coil buckets the 250 dollar kit and the small
125 boxed bucket/mounts. Personally I like the boxed ones theyr cheaper and look pretty simple.
Lastly do I have to space the buckets from the frame ? What is the best way to go about that?

Got the rear all mounted up its raining now so pics will have to wait.

I had to get ubolts made today bc nobody stocked them /: 55 bucks was not a bad deal thouhh

Clean looking frontend conversion. Color looks badass as well! 'Scribed.

Again sorry for the delay on pics I have no access to a computer

Rear is done wheels are on it I like the hight it's about 8 inches In suspention and I'm keeping the three inch body. I also ripped the front end out today I'm waiting on parts to go any further

I have the conversion coil buckets from duff and they are really nice. They are designed to go around that stupid bump on the drivers frame rail, and they space out the coils just a little bit. I used the lower HD spring retainers and drilled new holes 3/4 inch over so the coils are almost straight without having to weld huge spacers on the frame rails.

I read your entire thread on your truck I love it but I didn't see if you have a full width or narrowed Dana 44.

I'm trying to run full width it looks like 6 8 inches wider between the coil retainers then the coil buckets . Something isn't lining up

To run fw on a ranger, you need to space the buckets out 2" each side, or move the lower spring cups in 2", or space the buckets out an inch and the lowers in one inch...

I went ahead and mounted it all up to see how she's sit and it dosnt look like ill have to move them quite two inches but here's my plan.

Weld and bolt a plate on both sides of the frame nothing bigger then 3/8th plate
Move the retainers in about an inch .

She is sitting on the wheels right now and the coils don't go in to much however it looks like the springs are on a bit of an angle

I am running a FW HP 44. My upper buckets are spaced out a bit (built into the duff buckets) and my lower retainers are spaced in 3/4 inch, but I could have gone 1''

Okay so I picked up some plate to space the buckets I also ordered 7degree c bushings .

Could you possibly post a picture of your bucket and how it's spaced?

Also did you ever move the axle forward? I want to but it looks like the bucket will hit that stupid hump in the frame.
