Agreed. Pretty aggravating really. It is what it is though. I just hope paypal doesn't take too long, and hopefully I can get my gears in the next week or two. Ha ha, it's going to be like a dream come true!

Yeah, I've seen some advertisements but they were all pretty expensive. One was asking like 400 bucks. The other place I found online has them for $214, made by Precision Gear, which is a great deal.

Welp... The gears should be here wednesday or thursday!! I was able to get a little done on the front bumper. Not much, nut it was a busy weekend, so I'm glad I was able to get anything done.

Thanks Eddie. Much appreciated!! I still have quite a bit of work to do to it. This weekend I should have it pretty well buttoned up. Im giving it a receiver, filling in the bottom with diamond plate, and adding a low profile skid plate. It will get rino-lined as well as a some Hella 500's too. I'm also welcome to any ideas/input.....

maybe a winch? i just bought a welder yesterday, so i'll be fabbing up my own bumpers soon as well.....cant wait

Oh sweet dude! Gota love getting new toys What kind and size?

I decided I'm just going to fab up a plate for the winch to mount to, that slides in to the front and rear receivers. That way I only have to buy one winch, and just run power to both ends. Eventually I'll buy a second winch though, and probably make a completely different bumper at that point. Once I can afford a good tube bender, things are going to change dramatically

Don't we all! Ha ha, a plasma would save LOTS of time. They aren't too expensive either. I find them on CL for pretty cheap all the time. That's on my list for sure.

harbor freight has them for pretty cheap, but i hate buying crap from that place, it's like the dollar store of tools

I totally agree man. Harbor freight is good for wire brushes, chisels and such... other than that, I won't waste my time/money.

Thanks guys! It'll definitely be one of the more simple bumpers out there, but it's all I need. I'm not going for looks LOL. Utilitarian purposes only. It and the bed is all getting rhino-lined as soon as it stops raining (not for another week or two)

I just tracked the gears.... aaaaaaaaannnnnd they will be at my door step when I get home I didn't think this day would ever come Ha ha. Needless to say, I'm one happy mother F-er!!
