over the past two day I mange to get my body lift mostly installed. Went pretty well the hardest part was working outside in the rain and mainley the mud slowed me down a little bit. I still have a few things to button up like the lower the radiator and the front body mounts the rubber was were shot so looking for some. And boy do I have some gaps now from the bumper. This will motivate me too make my custom bumpers a little sooner then I planned.
I wasn’t so kind removing the bed cause I got another rust free one waiting to go when I start redoing the body in a couple of months. Going to paint it flat black I was also thinking camo green but not settled on that yet.
I also removed the bed too make it easier to remove the drive shaft so I could install a one peaice shaft but I had problem with the flange being bigger on the t-case so I think I’m going to get a custom u joint. I’ve done this before with my bronco
Plus I have leveling coils coming that I bought off here also. I’m going this weekend to pick up some black steel wheels. Then I can get my 31's put on them. So maybe I can get all this installed this weekend except the rims and tires since I have to get them mounted and balanced. Then in a couple of months start the body work.
Future mods include a V8 swap, dana 44 some 35's I have a set of 40's but I think that might a over kill.
