Note to self. Aftermarket valve covers cause clearance issues...

Well since ive been the only one posting on this, does anyone know if the master cylinder on the explorer need to be swaped over for the 8.8 disc brakes or does both the mast cyld and booster need to be swaped

Nope, both use the same master cylinder. Nice build. Sub'd

No need to muck around with the booster or master cylinder. The Ranger bits should work fine with the Expo 8.8 and its disks.

Only problem I had was getting the parking brakes to work correctly. Had to shorten the "mid" cable by 2". Expo rear cables, modded the mid cable and used the Ranger parking brake pedal assembly.

Thats great to know, already swaped it over since i had to swap the brake pedals. Does anyone know anything about the motor mount plates. I know the passenger side has a offset but is it an up ir down offest

Its an upward offset that lowers that side of the engine the thickness of the plate.

When installed, the bottom of the block's bosses are level with the bottom of the plate.

Hmm, ive read something special about a spacer needing to be removed on the passenger side.

Thanks for the info

On the stock mastercylinder, does anyone know the purpose of the adapter that screws in the rear port???
