I looked back through this build thread and realized that all of the pictures are build in progress versus great photos. I promise I'll get detailed and cleaned up photos as well as a detailed build sheet once we get this thing buttoned up and on the road. It will still have a few things to do before winter, but it will be about 98% finished by then. I just wish the electrical weren't kicking my butt right now! Some things worked then don't, some don't then do, and others just don't no matter what. No horn, No reverse lights, Lo & Hi beams worked, now only Hi, LED valence turn signals didn't, then did, now only the left blinks. Parking Brake indicator doesn't work. It did turn over, now doesn't.... I feel like Charlie Brown....Arrrgh!!!!!!

Add to that my son just had his wisdom teeth out so I'm working solo, trying to beat the thunderstorms in the driveway. (This whole build, paint, etc has been done in a stone driveway over the last 2 years.)

I haven't disappeared, just came down with Pneumonia last month.
We've gotten some wiring squared away and switched the distributor and have spark now!
Getting closer but standard time has cut into my work day evening progress!

This build did not evaporate on us all... Had a heck of a year since the end of September, '24. Unfortunately Illness, 3 other vehicles failures, a family loss, budget and my continued health issues (this getting closer to retirement age isn't working out like I planned...) have delayed completion. We did get the J&SSafeguard antiknock ignition unit for it, but have given up on the original Ranger's wiring harness. Now that my son is home before Junior year in college, we've pulled out the entire wiring harness and are swapping in a 18 circuit JEGS sourced harness for the entire truck. Wiring starting to go back in this weekend.....More to come!
