Project: Mr. Bad Motor Scooter - 92 Ranger

four bolts on the fire wall, no problem, it's the one's around the master cylinder that hold it on, plus two more on up a little, Six bolt all together hold the pedal plate on.

They're not truly hard, just a pain in the ass...lol

Go for a B2, you'll love the wheelbase and tons of storage potential. I can't wait to get mine up and running.

Oh, remember this M50D. Mine is down to a FM-145 that decided to start acting funky...lol

Actually I found a BII about 40 miles away this girl is selling. 1989 BII, 170k miles, 5 speed, electric transfer case (she thinks - kind of sucks, but I guess I could live with the electric t-case), converted to manual hubs. Clutch done a year ago, new fuel tank and pump, new brakes (rotors/pads/calipers). No rust (Washington rig). Asking $1,200 OBO.

I've always wanted a BII, haven't had one yet. I thought about the Explorer sport, but my Jeep XJ loving friend keeps telling me how they look like soccer mom rigs...I'd rather buy a BII just so I don't have to listen to that haha.

Anyways, thanks for all the advice y'all. Maybe I'll get a BII soon, I'm dying to wrench on something!!

I'm tryin'! I have finals next week, then I'm done for a month. I should be able to go take a look at it in that time.

How about this? I called on this one a while back actually, said it's an 87. Don't remember the mileage. I was looking for an 89-90 due to the newer heads on the 2.9, as well as being easier to swap in a 4.0L if I felt so inclined, but that thing looks super clean. It's an auto, which sucks, but as I've already said, 5 speed swap.
