Well, look who's back from the dead!

Thanks... its not quite death, but instead house hunting. That seems to take up a lot of time.... And I guess it should when you think about how much a house cost. And I am looking for the cheap of the cheap! :icon_rofl: Already went and saw 20 houses...

Should have called me yesterday. I probally have a puller to fit that. Now that you have practiced Ranger clutches you can come help do mine and another that I bought. lol

I think Chris Farley said it best. "You wanna end up down by the river in a double wide van smokin' Doubies all day?!?!"

Check out my build lately? ( I got some new bling for my D44 :D )

I thought about it, but ran out of time. I think I'll take you up on the puller. I may come back one night this week or this Saturday for the whole day.

What Ranger did you buy now? Pictures???

The clutch seems pretty easy... getting the transmission out was the hard part... I'd help you do clutch for loaning me the tool lol

Ya, I have been watching. It looks sweet! I can't believe after all that work you'd be so eager to go SAS already :icon_confused:

But then again, everyone on here is way faster at building stuff than I am. I am "Captain Slow" of the Ranger Station! Unless I break something... my truck will stay the way it is for a while if I ever finish it...

You need to finish yours so we can go wheeling!

Now that sounds like fun. I need to go wheeling with 1bad too. At least I have the quad to satisfy my need to get muddy for now. Hell, I'll be happy when I can drive the Ranger everyday again. That F250 gets thirsty... Plus it needs rust proofed or in another winter I'll be duct taping things together... Just a few weeks ago the tailpipe rusted and fell off :annoyed: I am going to have to order a cherry bomb pretty soon... :icon_thumby:

PENNDOT can take their rock salt and shove it! :thefinger:

Do you go wheeling at Rausch Creek? That where my cousin usually goes (he lives in Maryland) and I think its out your way.

Damn straight they can!

And yea, we've got a MASSIVE group heading down there on March 9th. If you're on FB, hit me up and I'll give you an invite.

I won't have a truck by then.... lol. We are hoping to move by June 1st, so I'll probably have to pass on that trip (saving cash for down payment), but I definitely will in the future. What is your actual name so I can add you?

For the record, Rausch Creek is 4 hours and 15 minutes from where I live lol. I didn't realize it was quite that far....

Well my truck is going to need another clutch its been slipping since Nov. I didn't want to have to put a second clutch in the truck but oh well. The other ranger I bought is a 97 reg 3.0 5spd manual everything just like mine but the same green as yours. It's got a blown motor. I'm goin to drop in my spare and sell it.

Nice. Did you put a stock clutch in it last time or did you upgrade? Is the new truck a rusty mess or in pretty good shape?

I put a stock clutch in mine. It held up fine for the abuse I've given it. Its been almost 7 years since I put it in there. I can't tell you how many times I've overloaded it or the amount of burnouts it's done. The green truck is decent. The brake lines are kinda crusty in a few spots otherwise its mint. The body is nice all the crossmembers and mounts are good.
