Jon, how's $75 for a 20?? Just talked to him...
SVT

That's a good price, but after looking I don't think a d20 will bolt up to a 435 without an adapter.

No it wont bolt up to a 4wd np435. The 20 doesnt use a 31 spline input. You would have to use an adapter.

Yea so looks like I'll stick with a 1356, not worth all the bullshit to me.

What would be the advantage of the D20?

It's small and light and you can twin stick it.

nah, more to worry about and more to go wrong. doing front digs would be nice. but ill just wait to pick up a 205 to do the doubler. the 1356 will be fine to get it on its feet

What would you give for a 205 ?? :D
SVT

you can operate the front and rear outputs induvidually. like say a front dig...front in low rear in nuetral. 2wd low front in nuetral rear in low.

Dana 20 is the smallest iron gear driven tcase Ford ever used, it's lighter than a 1356 aluminum case, and has independant shifters for the front and rear outputs, allowing twin shifter handles (twin sticks)

Ah ok. What does it bolt up to without an adapter?

it just wont bolt up to a 435, not sure what transmissions are compatible.
