project family wheeler. chop top 1 ton explorer.

I understand that one completely....but I know ya have that axle sitting there, and some leaves.......just sayin':D

I still need leaves, I can't make the expo rears work like I want. They are just a little too long so it looks like I'll be going to the rancho 44044's or some Toyota rears.

Getting there, still needs alot more work though.

Hardy har har.....

I agree I think the longer springs would be better. But it's like trying to stuff 10lb's in a 5lb box. My front hangers would be way out too far and it would sit way high as the shackles would have to be right under the body mount. Both 44044's and rear toyota's have been proven to work just as good or better.

Money and time, dont have much of either. Anyways I have to leave myself something to do or I'll be bored with it quickly.

Leaves can still hold thier own also...

I had no real issues with the shackles forward up at Badlands.....just sayin....

but, I do plan to finish my bumper with some sort of guard to protect from bashing the shackle against a rock to keep from bending a spring....

I want everything up front ticked up right so the shackles are going in the back.

Looks like I'm going to end up running the rancho 44044's I need to check the specs but I believe they will work how I want. Just not excited about the $150 a piece.

I was checking those out today, I need to check the measurements and see if they will work any better.

dunno if it helps but i got an email from lowrangeoffroad.com today and theyre having a sale now on all trail gear products..
