Where's the barn/garage radar device when you need it.......???

its not that the garage/barn radar is broken, its that the rip off radar that wont shut up. everyone here who has a barn or garage thinks they have the only one in the state.

lets put it this way, my rent at my apartment comes out to about $1 per square foot for month, that gets me everything but power and water. the barns and garages are more like $3 per square foot per month and most don't even have power.

consider renting a house w/ a garage. i know when i was in central il you could get a house/garage for about 800 per month. and that was a pretty decent house w/ a two car garage in a decent neighborhood. consider going to Mattoon, it is only 11 miles west of chucktown, and since it is not a university town, you can probably find cheaper rent. i live in Fishers IN and the rent here is crazy, and it still isn't more than a buck per square foot. i am paying 965 for a 2bed, 2 full bath apartment just under 1100 sq. feet with an unattached garage. granted, all of my other utilities are not covered. but i am also in one of the more affluent counties in the state of Indiana.

Gearhart updated their page sometime in the last month and i just discovered these

too bad they're floating calipers. too bad they're nearly $1500 per set. (that's per axle)

After emailing Russ it seams they do have a 4 piston fixed caliper set up but its about $400 more (per caliper). Russ also thinks its way overkill. I just really like fixed calipers better so when the time comes i'll just have to bite the bullet.

for those who've never been, HERE is Gearharts site. its very basic but has a lot to offer.

Hope to have a real update sometime soon, till then y'all are welcome to spitball with me!

Hahahaha, nice. I saw this thread forever ago, meant to post, and didn't... :dunno:

Anyhoo, sweet build! Can't wait to see a low COG rig on Rocks. :headbang:

Sorry guys but its gonna be at least a month before anything significant happens with this. I start a new job on monday, an extra $4.50/hr should help get things going again.

Thanks for the support guys!
